I have created this blog so that all of us can keep in touch with each other a little better and record a little of our family's history at the same time! This blog is unique in that it won't be just me that is posting. I have set it up so that any of you family members out there who want to participate can! And I hope that you all want to! You will need to set up a gmail account so that you can post but some of you already have one and the rest of you can do it very easily. (Just go to http://www.gmail.com/ and click on the 'Sign up for Gmail' link on the right side of the page below the sign in box. You never have to use it as your email account if you don't want to, but you need it because it will be your sign in to Blogger. For those of you new to all of this, Blogger is what you're on right now looking at all of this. It's a blogging website.)
Now all of you who didn't even know what a blog was can say you have one! Aren't you so with the times?! :o)
A couple things to watch for (and please add to!)...
--Pictures! I would love it if anyone who had a camera at the family reunion would post your pictures here so that all of us can see them! If you need help figuring out how to do it, email me and I'll help you. It's actually very easy. And please feel free to add any of your individual family's pictures anytime too!
--'Flashback Fridays'. I am also asking you to visit this blog on a Friday every once in a while and post a memory of the family. I saw this on a friend's blog and thought it was a great idea! So come back to post your own and read what others in the family post on 'Flashback Fridays.' And again, feel free to share anything about your individual family or random memories you have about the Grants even if it doesn't happen to be on a Friday!
Some other ideas of things to post on here....old family recipes you have (or new ones that your family loves), stories about one of our ancestors (or family members still around!), fun things about their personality or life, your favorite story about them, etc. Feel free to ask any questions you have about them too. We all might learn something we didn't know before!

JaLesha......You are awesome! The pictures are great. I have downloaded my pictures to my computer but not sure how to put them on our family "blog". I will play with it but may be calling you for your expert help. Thanks again for all the pictures. Also, a big thanks to everyone that helped put the family reunion together.
Feel free to call me! I tried to click on the 'name' by your comment but it says you don't have a profile so who are you? lol. I can teach you how to put the pictures on our blog really easily. We can go through it over the phone or through email, whichever is easiest for you. It's really simple. I will have to set you up as an author for the blog and then you'll be able to post whenever you'd like! And for all you other family members out there, please let me know if you are interested in posting something because I'd love to have everyone working on this blog together! It would make it lots more fun if it's not just me posting all the time!!
